Well, as stupid as it sounds, I feel like I made progress today by finally attaching my blog url to my profile on several web page forums.... Obviously, this is nothing to brag about, but for me it feels like a small breakthrough as I learn to build websites for income. I guess it just makes it feel a little more real blogging my thoughts, successes, and struggles here knowing that somebody else out there in cyberspace might actually read them.
Sometimes I feel like I am rushing into this whole thing way too quickly, but I have a definite goal in mind. Basically, my wife has two more years of University left before we can really do anything in the way of travelling. During that time, I plan to continue working an IT job which is probably going to allow us to pay for her school and everyday bills, but not much more than that. However, during the next two years, I hope to learn to make money over the internet in order to save money for an extensive around the world trip. We aren't talking 2 months here, more like 6-12.....
Anyway, my whole project/goal is still in the extreme infancy stage, but I feel like I am at least standing next to the giant boulder, getting ready to push.

well done on getting your blog started. I started with a dream about 6 months ago -pissed around with free software and then bought dreamweaver - its the way to go -you might need to get a book on how to use it as well! Now I have a 1 month old website - its really quite cool - a bit like publishing a book! Trouble is now that we are so busying packing for the next big trip that I have no time to update it!
